You'll see...

Writing is a declaration and documentation of who you've been. This is me today. This is me right now, in this very moment. Sure, tomorrow will be different, but I'll bet that most of it's still in there somewhere, feeling just the same. Down the road we know more, experience more, and we are continuously being molded and influenced and stretched and changed, little by little, day-by-day, but it doesn't make everything we used to be disappear. We are a life bound together and built up on stories and experiences and relationships and faith and dreams and fears and disappointment and love. And hope is the bright light that shines through the dark and keeps us going.

We are all trying to make our way through life the best that we know how, learning as we go, and it's so easy to get lost along the way. But one of the most liberating moments is when you arrive at the place where you don't feel the need to change with the scenery. You are ok. You are enough. No more labels or expectations, you embrace the work-in-progress, complicated, so-much-to-offer-the-world, you. And although nothing is ever perfect, life is so much easier when you love the only person you are guaranteed to be traveling with on the entire journey. You've got to love you cause you're all that you've got.

Look around, breathe it all in, and you'll find that the beautiful, broken pieces of your wonderful, messed up world are beginning to come together to create something amazing. Sure you may have no idea what it is just yet because nothing's what you'd had planned and you swear you must be lost, but it is still all unfolding. Some pieces and colors and lead characters may be missing, but just give it some time and write it down. It's all coming together, you'll see...
